Ferrari Red is available in a 1K and 2K aerosol. 1K paint is less hard wearing than 2K. It is more suitable for areas less prone to potential scratches and general wear and tear. 2K contains a hardener, which makes the paint extremely hard and is immediately protected against scratches, gasoline, UV rays, bumps and other weather influences from outside.
Finish 1K paint with clearcoat
In order to achieve the same look as the F1 car, you should use a 2K matte clearcoat. A clearcoat provides protection against weather influences, scratches, bumps and gasoline. In addition, it ensures a durable color fastness without having to worry that the color will fade.
