The sealant has high mechanical resistance and final strength and is non-corrosive to metals. On many suitable non-porous substrates, no primer is needed. After curing, the sealant is sandable and grindable and can be overpainted with water-based paint systems, making it well suited for professional repair and finishing processes.

How to use CROP MS Polymer Sealant

Use this MS polymer sealant for sealing, gluing, mounting, and repairing suitable parts and substrates. For reliable adhesion, good preparation is important. The recommended processing temperature is between +5°C and +40°C.

1. Clean the surface: ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and sufficiently load-bearing
2. De-grease the surface: remove oil, grease, dirt, and other contaminants that can reduce adhesion
3. Check the adhesion: if in doubt, perform an adhesion test on the relevant substrate beforehand
4. Apply the sealant: distribute the black MS Polymer Sealant evenly over the seam, gap, or surface to be glued
5. Finish the sealant: model the applied sealant before skin formation and further curing occur
6. Let the sealant cure: the curing time under the specified test conditions is about 2 mm per 24 hours
7. Sand if necessary: cured material can be sanded and ground for further finishing
8. Finish further: overpainting with water-based paint systems is possible, with prior testing recommended
