Product information

CarPro Eraser

CarPro Eraser is an automotive paint cleaner designed to dissolve oil particles and remove polish residue to prepare paintwork for a new coat of wax or coating. Eraser effectively attracts polish residue and dust for a clean surface and proper inspection of paintwork.

Glass cleaner

Eraser from CarPro goes one step further with an intense cleaner that dissolves oil and attracts dust. With Eraser Intense Oil & Polish Cleanser, you effectively remove oil, polish residue and dust. A new coating or wax will adhere better to the surface and create an even, long-lasting shine with great protection. The degreaser contains antistatic properties so dust has no chance!

Removes old wax layers

Old sealant and wax residue can clog the pores of automotive paint, blocking lasting adhesion and reducing the effectiveness of a new coating. Eraser dissolves and removes old wax and sealant layers to expose a completely pristine surface. Completely bare surfaces are better prepared for fresh coating and lasting protection, so sealant and wax adhere best and last longest. Eraser contains no silicones and is completely safe for use in auto paint shops and body shops.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I use to degrease?

You can degrease using a degreasing agent or cleaning product. These are special products designed to remove grease from paint, coatings, or surfaces.

Can I degrease with brake cleaner?

Although people use brake cleaner for degreasing, we do not recommend it. Brake cleaner contains acids that can cause paint to crack, chip, or react. Always use a high-quality degreaser instead.

How to degrease car paint?

To degrease car paint, you'll need a degreaser specifically designed for automotive surfaces. First, apply the degreaser to the car paint using one cloth. Then, use a second clean cloth to wipe off the degreaser. This process ensures that the surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of grease, making it ready for further treatment or painting. Always use two cloths—one for application and the other for removal—to ensure the best results.

Does a rust converter need a primer?

No, a primer is not required over a rust converter. As the name suggests, the rust converter encapsulates the rust and transforms it into a layer that acts like a primer, preventing further rusting. You can apply automotive paint, 2K paint, varnish, or a coating directly over a rust converter
