B-TEC IR-X3 shortwave paint dryer with 3 independent and flexible cassettes
B-TEC IR-X3 is a shortwave infrared dryer with 3 cassettes and a total output of 3060 watts. It is connected to mains at 230 volts and has a large drying area of 100 x 80cm. This large dryer is suitable for very fast drying of all types of automotive primers, paints and varnishes. The 3 separate cassettes can be turned and fixed in place in several positions and switched on separately.

In contrast to medium- and long-wave infrared radiation, short-wave infrared radiation penetrates the coating and heats it from the inside. The complete sealing of the paint surface with still wet paint layers underneath is effectively prevented. This leads to a perfect drying result and avoids problems such as bubbling and incorrect drying of the finish. The unit has a control panel where you can adjust the drying intensity. Thanks to the hydraulic arm, the 3 cassettes are adjustable in height up to 2.4 metres. This makes the IR-X3 dryer ideal for drying paint on a car roof.
