3M Abrasion Resistant Film
3M 08210 Abrasion Resistant Film is a protection film based on Polyurethane. The foil is transparent with a thickness of 0.2mm. It protects the paint against stone chips, scratches, corrosion, wear and user traces.
Protection film against stone chips and scratches
This car paint protection film is made of high-quality polyurethane, which protects the paint against stone chips, scratches and other external influences.
What can I use this paint protection film for?
It can be used to protect paint on sensitive parts of the car. When cars are manufactured, this film is also used on door edges, mirror covers, rear bumpers, side skirts, spoilers and bumper lips.
How do I use the paint protection film?
- Clean the paint thoroughly, dry and free of grease. Always use a powerful degreaser. We recommend using 3M 08984 Paint Degreaser.
- Cut the protective film in the desired size.
- Wet the surface with a sprayer.
- Stick the protective film.
- Press the foil well with a Rubber Spreader.
- Rub carefully with a dry cloth over the applied protective film.
- Finally, dry the foil with a blow dryer from a distance of at least 30cm to the surface.
- Done!
Paintable
When the paint protection film is applied and has dried completely, the foil can be painted for invisible repair.

also for motorcycle cases
i purchased the 3M 08210 Car Paint Protection Film for the cases of my Honda ST1100 Pan European motorcycle, by getting off and on you sometimes inadvertently go over the top of the tightly lacquered cases damaging them. now this film applied and no more unintentional scratches. it is virtually invisible and very easy to apply
