Total LHM Plus hydraulic oil is designed for use in hydraulic circuits where an LHM-class fluid is specified, such as in the central hydraulic systems of Citroën models (e.g. XM, Xantia, BX, CX, SM, GS, and older ID/DS series). The Total oil offers excellent protection against wear and corrosion and remains fluid at very low temperatures, essential for smooth operation of suspensions, brakes, and power steering. Note that this fluid is not mixable or compatible with synthetic brake fluids such as DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5 and older LHS 2 fluids; therefore, correct application according to specifications is crucial.
