Red Oxide Primer

Tenco Red Lead Primer is a rust-preventing primer with a reddish-brown color that is mainly used as a substrate for dark paint coats. It is specially developed to prevent corrosion and rusting on steel structures, fencing and machinery.

Primer wood

Although ironmene is designed primarily as a rust-preventing primer for metal surfaces, it can also be used effectively on wood. Ironmene on wood is a special primer that promotes paint adhesion to woodwork. It protects wood that is in direct contact with masonry, such as built-in window frames and doors. By using this rust-inhibiting primer, you can get metal paint to adhere for long-term protection. Ironmene has a red color and may be visible under light or transparent coats of paint; this may be a consideration when choosing the final coat of paint.

Woodmenie or primer

Woodmenie and primer are not the same, although they may have similar functions in preparing wood surfaces for further finishing. Tenco ironmenie, is a rust inhibiting primer specifically designed for metal surfaces. It is used to prevent corrosion and rusting, especially on steel structures, fencing and machinery. Primer does not have anti-corrosion properties, provided it is specifically formulated like Tenco's menie.
