How do I use the heat resistant paint?

Rustoleum heat resistant paint is easy to use without primer or primer. Use the steps below.

1. To determine if the color is suitable, you can test it beforehand on an inconspicuous area. Remove oil, grease and other surface contaminants with a suitable cleaning agent, such as Rust-Oleum Metal Expert metal degreaser and cleaner. Remove loose rust by scraping, brushing with a wire brush or sanding. Sand already painted surfaces first for better adhesion.
2. Stir the product thoroughly before applying. You can apply the product with a brush. Use a high-quality, soft brush and apply the paint with light movements, always in the same direction.
3. Hand dry after 30 minutes.
4. Complete cure after the object was heated to 250°C for 45 minutes.
5. Allow a minimum of two hours drying between applications.

Do not use in cold (below 10 °C) or humid conditions. Do not apply to warm and hot surfaces. After use, protect from water or steam for 2 to 3 days. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents on the surface.
