Water-based magnetic paint

How to paint magnetic paint from Jansen

Before you start painting magnetic paint, it is important that your surface is clean, dry and smooth. You can safely use the paint with magnetic effect on stucco, drywall, MDF, wood and concrete. Avoid uneven or highly absorbent substrates without pretreatment.

1. Use a degreaser to remove dirt and grease. If necessary, lightly sand the substrate with fine sandpaper and then dust.
2. Is the substrate porous or highly absorbent? Then first use a suitable adhesion primer or primer for even coverage and optimal adhesion of the magnetic paint.
3. Stir the Jansen Aqua Magnetic Paint vigorously before use. The paint contains metal particles that sink to the bottom; proper mixing ensures an even magnetic effect.
4. Use a short-haired roller or brush and apply the first coat evenly. Allow this coat to dry for at least 4 hours before continuing.
5. Apply a total of three coats for a powerful magnetic effect. Let each coat dry thoroughly before applying the next.
6. After the last coat, the paint needs about 12 hours to fully cure.

Repaintable in any color

Jansen's magnetic paint has a dark gray color and a matte finish. After drying, you can safely repaint the paint with any wall paint or finish with wallpaper. So you can use the magnetic paint in any interior while maintaining the style you like.
