The Gtechniq HALOv2 Flexible Film Coating is a high-quality ceramic coating for PPF and vinyl wrap specifically developed to protect protective films for a long time and make them easier to maintain. HALOv2 forms a strong chemical bond with the surface and creates an ultra-dense protective layer with excellent water and dirt repellent properties. The coating protects for up to 2 years and is suitable for both glossy, satin, and matte PPF and wrap films.
PPF coating with water and dirt repellent effect
Gtechniq HALOv2 lowers the surface energy of PPF and vinyl, allowing water, dirt, and road pollution to slide off the surface more easily. This helps reduce the buildup of stubborn dirt and makes regular washing and maintenance of a wrapped car or vehicle with Paint Protection Film easier. Additionally, HALOv2 helps protect against bird droppings, UV rays, and everyday pollution.
Up to 2 years of protection for PPF and vinyl wrap
With correct application and maintenance, HALOv2 offers up to 2 years of protection. The flexible formula has been extensively tested on various types of vinyl and Paint Protection Film and can also be used on modern self-healing PPF without affecting the self-healing properties of the film. This makes the coating suitable for, for example, a PPF front, hood, fenders, headlights, or a vehicle fully protected with PPF or vinyl.

The coating can be used on glossy, matte, and satin finishes and is also suitable for existing PPF and vinyl applications. HALOv2 helps enhance the protective properties of the film and makes the surface easier to keep clean.
How do you use Gtechniq HALOv2 Flexible Film Coating?
Ensure that the PPF or vinyl film is completely clean, decontaminated, and cooled. For existing films, Gtechniq advises first cleaning and decontaminating the vehicle and then preparing the surface with a 30% IPA solution. Apply HALOv2 evenly with the included applicator and work in sections of about 60 x 60 cm. After each panel, remove any excess product with a suitable microfiber cloth and carefully check for any residue. The vehicle must be indoors during application and then remain indoors for at least 12 hours.
