The coating is also suitable for brake calipers and exhaust trims and can withstand temperatures up to 600°C.

Heat Resistant Ceramic Coating for Wheels and Brake Calipers

Gtechniq C5 can withstand temperatures up to 600°C and is therefore excellently suited for parts that can become very hot during driving. In addition to alloy wheels, you can therefore use C5 for brake calipers and exhaust trims. The coating is suitable for wheels with a glossy, satin, or matte finish and can also be applied to chrome. C5 is not suitable for polished metal surfaces.

How Do You Use Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour?

Ensure that the wheels are completely clean and dry before application and degrease the surface with Gtechniq Panel Wipe for optimal adhesion. Shake C5 well and apply a few drops to the included applicator. Spread the coating over a maximum of half a wheel at a time and remove excess product within 30 to 60 seconds with a suitable microfiber cloth. Then allow the coating to cure for at least 12 hours indoors before exposing the wheels to weather conditions.
