When is this felt polishing disc suitable for you?
For machine polishing of paint, metal, or gelcoat where you cannot make further progress with a foam pad. The felt provides more cutting power and heat generation, making it particularly suitable for targeted correction and working up dull or weathered surfaces.

- Heavily weathered paint or gelcoat on a boat, camper, or caravan: Felt tackles dullness and oxidation faster than a foam disc. On gelcoat and old paint layers, you can restore depth to the surface with a medium polishing compound without having to work endlessly.
- Targeted correction of stubborn swirls and light scratches: Where a soft foam pad does too little, felt provides just that little bit of extra cutting power. Work at low speeds and keep the disc moving, then the risk of burn-through remains manageable.
- Less suitable for a scratch-free finish on dark paint: Felt leaves holograms behind faster than a soft foam disc. For the final polishing pass on black or dark paint, it is better to choose a foam finishing pad with a fine polishing compound.

i just polished my windshield with this pad and a super result pad is highly recommended better than the one from CarPro which was already broken after 15min
