Unlike the Leather Protector which is mainly intended for maintenance and light protection of already used leather, Leather Sealer forms a strong barrier against intensive use and mechanical wear. Leather Sealer is ideal for car interiors, leather furniture and other smooth leathers that need additional protection in the first few years. The sealer creates a long-lasting, transparent layer without greasing the leather, preserving its natural appearance. The sealer can be combined with Colourlock Leather Protector for optimal maintenance: first clean and seal, then maintain regularly with the leather protector.

Cleaning leather before applying leather sealer

For optimal results, leather should always be thoroughly cleaned before applying Colourlock Leather Sealer. For normal soiling, use the mild cleaner and for stubborn dirt, use the strong cleaner to prevent dirt from being trapped in the leather. CROP leather brush can help to effectively remove dirt deep in the grain structure. New leather mainly deserves protection against wear, stains and discoloration in the first three years and does not yet need a refinishing.
