Effective cleaning of lightly soiled leather with Colourlock Leather Cleaner Mild

Colourlock Leather Cleaner Mild has been specially developed for the gentle cleaning of lightly soiled pigmented covered leather. Leather naturally has a slightly acidic pH between 3.5 and 5, so cleaners with too high a pH can damage the surface. This mild leather cleaner has a carefully tuned pH of 8 and contains gentle regreasing additives, removing dirt without stressing or drying out the leather.

The best cleaner for daily maintenance of leather

Leather Cleaner Mild is ideal for car interiors, leather furniture, bags, suitcases, shoes, boots, clothing and saddles that are normally soiled. The mild formula gently removes dirt while preserving the leather's natural appearance and suppleness. For intensive use or heavily soiled leather, the strong variant can be applied. The cleaner is safe to use on special leathers such as Cool Leather and SRT Leather (SunReflective Technology).

Lightly Soiled Leather Cleaning with Foam

For optimal cleaning of lightly soiled leather, it is recommended to use the mild cleaner as a foam. Foam cleans more effectively than liquid, is more economical to use and prevents the leather from getting too wet, thus preventing hardening after drying. Preferably use a foam dispenser such as the Koch Chemie Foamer Bottle. The 200ml variant of Colourlock comes standard in a foamer bottle. Always test on an inconspicuous area first to rule out color or surface changes. Apply the foam to a sponge, leather brush or scrub pad (not directly to the leather) and clean with light pressure from seam to seam. For dirt in the grain, the CROP Leather Brush can provide additional support. Remove the dirty foam with a slightly damp CROP microfiber cloth and allow the leather to dry thoroughly.
