This polishing pad has a beveled profile that provides maximum control while increasing safety. Since the backing plate does not extend all the way to the outer edge of the pad, you are less likely to damage adjacent panels. The polishing wheel is ideally suited for removing deep scratches from car paint with a coarse polishing compound.
