Wood glueing
Bison wood glue is suitable for well-fitting, non-load-bearing wood constructions by means of, for example, finger joints, dovetails, mortise and tenon joints, dowels and springs. It is suitable on many substrates such as:
- gypsum
- (natural) stone
- (gas) concrete
- metal
- rigid foam
- various plastics
How do I use Bison wood adhesives?
Bison wood glue is suitable for various applications. The temperature of the environment, the glue and the materials to be glued should not be lower than +5°C. Wood moisture content between 10% and 18%.
- The surface must be clean, dust-free and dry for maximum adhesion.
- Degrease oily wood alvores well and roughen non-porous materials.
- Moisten the side to which no adhesive has been applied with a damp cloth.
- Apply the wood glue evenly and thinly using a caulking gun.
- Assemble joint within 2 minutes and clamp or press for at least 15 minutes.
- Apply an adequate coating to the glued joint for maximum water resistance.
- Remove wet adhesive residues immediately with water.
- Store in tightly closed packaging in a dry place at a temperature between +10°C and +20°C.
