The 3M 34131 Polishing Compound with white cap has a high paint correction which makes the polish work best with a wool polishing pad or a hard foam polishing pad. By polishing eccentrically with this combination, you achieve quick results on any car in the first step. This coarse compound is specifically designed to be used with a dual action polisher. For best results, we recommend polishing the car in Step 2 with the 3M 34134E Polish.
