Tenco Bottomcoat is a powerful underwater coating based on bitumen, specially developed for long-lasting protection of surfaces that are continuously in contact with water. This coating is ideal for inland and pleasure vessels that sail on fresh or brackish water, but also for houseboats, docks, sheet piling, and other water-stressed structures.

Bitumen coating with direct adhesion without primer

This underwater coating distinguishes itself by its excellent adhesion and ease of use. Tenco Bottomcoat adheres directly to steel, concrete, wood, and aged polyester without the need for a primer. In fact, a primer is discouraged. Additionally, the coating also adheres directly to existing tar and bitumen layers, making the product ideal for maintenance and renovation.

Underwater coating for boats and water structures

With Tenco Bottomcoat, you use a durable underwater coating that provides a water-repellent, vapor-proof, and film-forming protective layer. The coating effectively protects against water influences and reduces the adhesion of dirt and growth. This keeps the surface in good condition for longer and makes maintenance easier.

1. Ensure a clean, dry, and grease-free surface.
2. Remove loose rust and dirt.
3. Stir the coating well before use.
4. Apply with a brush or roller.
5. Apply multiple layers for optimal protection.
