Metal Expert Designer Finish metallic paints were developed under the motto: paint should be pleasing to the eye! Decorative metal paints provide a cast iron look and feel. Whereas most metallic paints are seen as products to prevent or solve rust problems, this product is one of a kind. We all have some metal items in our yard or indoors that have lost their luster and glory for a while and are in need of something new.

Textured paint

With a textured paint, you give the surface a unique, slightly grainy look. This easily covers up imperfections and creates a special effect. You can use the best textured paint on both interior and exterior surfaces.

How do I use the textured paint?

Rustoleum metallic paint is easy to use without primer or primer (with the exception of untreated substrates). Use the steps below.

1. The surfaces to be painted must be dry, clean and free of paint residue, rust, wax, oil and grease. Already painted surfaces should be sanded first for better adhesion. Pre-treat untreated metal surfaces with Rust-Oleum 3-in-1 anti-rust primer.
2. Stir well before use. apply 1-2 coats by brush or roller.
3. Dry after 30 minutes.
4. Wait 20 minutes between application of coats.

Do not use on substrates that regularly get hotter than 80 °C. Use only at temperatures between 10 °C and 32 °C and humidity below 85%. Be particularly careful when preparing surfaces with coatings predating 1960. These surfaces may contain lead and be harmful to health.
