Rust-Oleum Epoxy Repair Mortar is a high-strength epoxy repair mortar for repairing damaged floors and stairs. The epoxy mortar guarantees permanent repair of cracked concrete and stone floors.

Concrete floor repair

Repairing a concrete floor is absolutely necessary before painting a floor. This is because floor paint cannot properly adhere to the surface if there are gaps and unevenness. For best results, a smooth surface is crucial. If you repair a concrete floor, it will last longer and look nicer.

Epoxy mortar

What is epoxy mortar? Mortar is mainly used to bond different surfaces together. Epoxy repair can be used to fill cracks or holes, as well as a leveling mortar to repair damage in floors.

How do I use the repair mortar?

Rustoleum concrete repair is easy to use. Use the step-by-step instructions below.

1. Concrete and stone surfaces must be dry, all previous coatings, dirt and loose material must be removed, and the surfaces must be at least four weeks old.
2. The package contains granular resin material and one or more bottles (depending on the package) of hardener.Mix the granular resin material with the hardener on a board or container. The mixing must be done very well. The ratio of resin hardener is essential and it is not recommended to mix partial packages.
3. Temperature of air, substrate and coating material between 10 and 35°C and relative humidity below 85%. The temperature of the substrate must be at least 3°C above the dew point.
4. Spread on the pre-treated surface. Leveling must be done with a metal trowel. To avoid "resistance", we recommend regularly cleaning the flat trowel with a damp (not soaked) cloth with white spirit. The processing time of the mixed product is half an hour, depending on the temperature. Processing becomes more difficult and adhesion decreases if the product is used after the processing time.
5. Adhesive-free: 3-6 hours
6. Fully cured: 6 hours
7. Pot life: 30 min

Depending on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material loss during application, consumption is difficult to estimate. Theoretical consumption is 1.2 m² at a layer thickness of 5 mm per 10 kg.
