Flammable and solvent-containing liquids can be safely stored and used in a plunger jug. A plunger jug can be used to safely soak a cloth or sponge with a flammable liquid. These include thinners, rinse thinners, benzene, acetone, degreasers and other solvent-containing liquids. These JUSTRITE Plunger jugs are made of high-quality powder-coated metal that can withstand chemical and thinner-based liquids.

How does a plunger jug work?

A plunger jug is easy, safe and quick to use. Fill the metal plunger jug with the liquid you want. Take the sponge or cloth you want to use and press it onto the plunger. The pumping system is equipped with a spring that raises the liquid to the saucer grid. In the process, the saucer grid serves as a flame screen, allowing you to work safely and without danger at all times. Any excess liquid falls back into the jug the moment you remove the cloth or sponge from the saucer!
