L1 forms a protective layer that makes the leather more wear-resistant and helps prevent dyes from, for example, jeans and other clothing from penetrating light-colored leather. How to Use Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard AB?

Clean the leather thoroughly first with Gtechniq I2 Tri-Clean or L2 Leather Cleaner and let the surface dry completely. Shake L1 well before use and apply a small amount with a suitable foam applicator in circular motions. Spread a thin, even layer and remove excess product with a clean microfiber cloth. On heavily used parts such as the driver's seat and steering wheel, a second layer can be applied after 1 hour. Allow the treated surface to dry for at least one hour before using it again.
