Dirt should always be removed first with the mild cleaner for normal soiling or the strong cleaner for stubborn dirt, so that stains do not settle into the leather. The cleaning sponge helps with deeper soiling in the grain structure. New leather should be treated with the leather sealant within the first three years. The leather does not yet need additional nutrition, but it does need protection against wear, friction and color transfer from clothing.
