CarPro CQuartz DLUX Plastic & Wheel Coat is a semi-permanent ceramic coating that protects car surfaces from external influences while restoring the surface. The clear protective layer of the wheel coating is similar to a glass coating. The coating protects surfaces even from water stains. It adheres strongly, cleans easily and lasts up to a year!

Glass coating for rims, plastic and headlights

CQuartz DLux from CarPro differs from the original CQUARTZ formula in that DLux contains more than 50% pure silica! Silicon is what glass is made of, making DLux essentially a glass coating for your vehicle's exterior plastic and rubber surfaces. As an added benefit, the main component of DLux is organosilane, which repels water and dirt from the surface. CQUARTZ DLux gives plastic and rubber exterior surfaces a like-new factory finish that stays clean longer. Repelling UV rays and moisture, the ceramic coating protection lasts up to a year!

Headlight Coating

The coating restores the rich look of faded plastic and repels UV rays. Use the glass coating after you have sanded and polished headlights. The high-quality UV protection prevents your headlights from yellowing or dulling.

How do I use CarPro glass coating?

You can apply a ceramic coating yourself with CarPro CQuartz DLUX. The ceramic coating can be applied in two different ways and differs per application. Follow the simple steps below for a professional result.

Glass coating of rims

1. For a long life, it is important to properly disinfect the rims.
2. Use CarPro Iron X and Tar X to clean rims. After this, consider polishing the rims to remove small scratches.
3. Then degrease well with CarPro Eraser.
4. Apply the ceramic coating with the provided applicator.
5. Spread the ceramic coating in a circular motion until the surface feels dry to the touch.
6. After about 1 to 10 minutes (depending on humidity and temperature), residue can be wiped off with a microsuede cloth.
7. The coating requires 1 to 3 hours to fully cure. Do not drive the car during this time. Full cure without rain takes 24 hours. Brush off any water spots during the first 24 hours!

Plastic coating

1. Clean the surface with CarPro MultiX and a microfiber cloth.
2. Rinse well to remove residue.
3. Dry the surface thoroughly.
4. Degrease with CarPro Eraser and wait 20 minutes.
5. Apply the glass coating with the applicator provided.
6. Apply evenly, but not too thin.
7. Weigh carefully on smooth plastic parts before it becomes too sticky (about after 1 minute).
8. The coating takes 1 to 3 hours to fully cure. Do not drive the car during this time. Complete curing without rain takes 24 hours. Brush off any water spots during the first 24 hours!
