3M Famous Finish Polish with purple cap
3M Perfect-It Famous Finish Polish allow you to eliminate the use of traditional rubbing compounds and machine polishes, while still leaving a high gloss finish with minimal swirl marks. 3M Famous Finish provides the cut of a compound and the swirl-free finish of a polish, the wetter formulation allows for longer work time without drying and they wipe off easily, requiring less clean-up time.
Removes all standard paint defects
Famous Finish Polish removes all standard paint defects in 2 short polishing steps without the necessity to use further polishing materials. It is a specifically developed polishing system to obtain shiny results on all standard and new high-connected clear coat systems.

How to use 3M Perfect It Famous Finish?
- Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
- If desired, sand with 3M Trizact P3000.
- Apply 3M Famous Finish on the polishing pad.
- Spread the polish evenly on the lowest setting of your polisher. Apply a light pressure.
- Turn the speed of the polishing machine to 3 or 4 and start polishing.
- Use 3M Finish Control Spray to check progress in between compounding steps.
- Still scratches visible? Repeat the first steps!
