After cleaning with 5in1 Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner (STEP 1), the particulate filter must the be rinsed with the total amount of 5in1 Diesel Particulate Filter Flush (STEP 2) The same steps are to be taken here as with the first step. After reinstallation of the sensor, the service operation or the workshop must carry out a test drive of at least 20 minutes in order to initiate the regeneration of the particulate filter. If the engine electronics do not automatically start the regeneration process, we recommend having the process initiated by a workshop tester or a diagnostic unit.
